IWS - Oracle Consultant - MSCA/Field Service Module

Job Title : Oracle Consultant Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Consultant with a strong technical background and expertise in integrating wireless solutions within the Oracle ecosystem. This role requires a deep understanding of relevant Oracle modules, cloud services, and the technical complexities involved in connecting, configuring, and managing wireless devices, applications, and data flows to enhance business processes. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of functional knowledge and hands-on technical skills to design, implement, and optimize wireless-enabled solutions that leverage the power of the Oracle platform. Key Responsibilities : - Lead technical design sessions to translate business requirements for integrated wireless solutions into detailed technical specifications within the Oracle environment. - Configure, customize, and extend Oracle modules relevant to wireless integration, such as Oracle Field Service Cloud (OFSC), Mobile Supply Chain Applications (MSCA), Oracle Warehouse Management Cloud (WMS Cloud), or Oracle Internet of Things (IoT) Cloud. - Develop and implement technical solutions for data capture, transmission, and integration from wireless devices (e.g., mobile scanners, sensors, field service technician devices) into Oracle. - Design, build, and test integrations between Oracle cloud/on-premises applications and external wireless platforms, middleware, or device management systems using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), SOACS, REST/SOAP APIs, SFTP, or other relevant technologies. - Develop and maintain technical documentation, including technical design documents, integration specifications, data mapping documents, and test scripts. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to wireless connectivity, data synchronization, application performance, and integration points within the Oracle landscape. - Configure and manage mobile applications related to Oracle modules (e.g., OFSC mobile app, Oracle Mobile SCM) and address technical challenges specific to mobile deployments in wireless environments. - Utilize Oracle development tools and technologies (e.g., PL/SQL, SQL, Java, JCS, VBCS) for customizations, extensions, and data manipulation as required for wireless integrations. - Perform technical testing, including unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for wireless-enabled functionalities. - Provide technical expertise and support during all phases of the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to deployment and post-go-live support. - Stay current with the latest Oracle technologies, particularly in cloud services, mobile solutions, IoT, and integration capabilities relevant to wireless integration. - Collaborate effectively with functional consultants, business analysts, developers, and client IT teams to deliver comprehensive solutions. Required Technical Skills : - Proven technical experience with relevant Oracle applications that utilize wireless technology (e.g., Oracle Field Service Cloud, Oracle SCM Mobile/WMS Cloud, Oracle IoT Cloud). - Strong technical understanding of integration methodologies and tools within the Oracle ecosystem (Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, SFTP, web services). - Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and troubleshooting. - Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services relevant to application deployment, integration, and data management. - Technical experience with mobile application configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting in an enterprise context, particularly related to Oracle mobile applications. - Understanding of wireless communication protocols and concepts (e.g., Wi-Fi, Cellular, Bluetooth, MQTT) as they relate to enterprise data integration. - Experience with data mapping and transformation between different systems. - Ability to read and understand technical documentation, including schemas (XSDs) and WSDLs. Desired Technical Skills : - Experience with specific Oracle Cloud modules relevant to wireless integration OFSC technical configuration, WMS Cloud technical setup, IoT Cloud service configuration. - Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, or other programming languages relevant to Oracle extensions or integrations. - Experience with Oracle Development Cloud services (VBCS for custom mobile interfaces). - Familiarity with middleware technologies outside of OIC that might be used for integrating wireless solutions. - Experience with performance tuning of Oracle applications and integrations in a wireless environment. - Understanding of security considerations related to wireless data transmission and integration with enterprise systems. Qualifications : - Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field. - Oracle Cloud certifications relevant to SCM, Field Service, IoT, or Integration are a significant plus. Experience : - Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Oracle Consultant with a strong technical focus. - Proven experience in designing, implementing, and supporting technical solutions involving wireless integration with Oracle applications. - Experience working on multiple Oracle implementation or upgrade projects. - Experience in a client-facing role, effectively communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
