Project Manager - Odoo Platform

Position : Project Manager Odoo(Must have recent Odoo : 10-15 : Ahmedabad/ Mumbai-(No : - Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. - Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, budgets, and risk management strategies, specifically tailored for Odoo implementations. - Conduct detailed project kick-off meetings with internal teams and clients. - Lead and manage cross-functional project teams, including functional consultants, technical developers, and business analysts, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and effective communication. - Oversee the execution of Odoo configuration, customization, development, data migration, testing, and training activities. - Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects remain within allocated financial parameters. - Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or risks, and proactively implement mitigation strategies. - Ensure adherence to Odoo implementation methodologies and best practices. - Manage and track project deliverables, ensuring they meet quality standards and client expectations. - Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle. - Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively to both internal and external stakeholders through regular meetings and reports. - Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between technical and functional teams. - Manage and resolve project-related conflicts and escalations. - Leverage deep and recent hands-on knowledge of the Odoo ERP platform, including its various modules (e.g., Sales, CRM, Inventory, Manufacturing, Accounting, HR, Project). - Understand Odoo's technical architecture, customization capabilities, and integration options. - Provide guidance and expertise on Odoo best practices and solution design. - Stay up-to-date with the latest Odoo versions, features, and updates. - Oversee the testing phase, ensuring comprehensive test plans are developed and executed. - Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) with clients and ensure timely resolution of identified issues. - Ensure the quality and stability of the deployed Odoo solution. - Manage the project closure process, including final deliverables, client sign-off, and lessons learned. - Ensure comprehensive project documentation is created and Skills & Qualifications (Mandatory) : - 10-15 years of overall project management experience. - Proven and demonstrable experience (minimum 5 years) specifically managing Odoo ERP implementation projects. This recent Odoo experience is a critical requirement. - Deep understanding of Odoo ERP functionalities across multiple modules. - Strong understanding of Odoo implementation methodologies and best practices. - Excellent project planning, execution, monitoring, and controlling skills. - Proven ability to manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively. - Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Experience with project management tools and software. - Ability to work independently and drive projects to successful completion. - Willingness to work from the Ahmedabad or Mumbai office location (no remote Skills : - Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant project management certifications. - Experience with Agile project management methodologies. - Technical background with an understanding of software development and database concepts relevant to Odoo. - Experience with Odoo customization and development (understanding of Python for Odoo). - Experience with data migration strategies for Odoo implementations. - Experience with integrating Odoo with other enterprise systems. - Experience in managing Odoo implementations for diverse Attributes : - Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. - Excellent organizational and time management skills. - Results-oriented with a strong focus on delivering value to clients. - Proactive and able to anticipate and mitigate potential project risks. - Strong client-facing skills with a professional and consultative approach. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
