Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Oracle PeopleSoft Consultant to join our enterprise applications team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of PeopleSoft architecture, modules, and technical components, with proven experience in development, implementation, and support. The role requires both technical expertise and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities : - Analyze, design, develop, test, and implement customizations and enhancements in PeopleSoft applications (HRMS, FSCM, Campus Solutions, or other modules depending on domain expertise). - Develop technical objects such as PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, SQR, BI Publisher, and Integration Broker. - Perform data conversions, interface development, and reporting based on functional specifications. - Create and maintain technical documentation including designs, test scripts, and deployment plans. - Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and end-users to understand requirements and deliver optimal technical solutions. - Assist in patching, upgrades, and application support including troubleshooting production issues. - Participate in code reviews, system testing, and performance tuning activities. - Provide post-go-live support and user training as required. Required Skills & Experience : - 4 to 12 years of hands-on experience in Oracle PeopleSoft technical development. - Strong command over PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, Component Interfaces, Integration Broker, and PeopleSoft Query. - Experience in working with PeopleTools 8.5x and above. - Experience with PeopleSoft HCM, FSCM, or Campus Solutions modules (at least one core module must be mastered). - Familiarity with Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL for backend development and performance tuning. - Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft security, workflows, and user interface enhancements. - Exposure to PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) and tools upgrade is a plus. - Working knowledge of Fluid UI and modern PeopleSoft architecture is desirable. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience with integration tools (REST/SOAP APIs, Web Services). - Understanding of project methodologies including Agile and Waterfall. - Oracle or PeopleSoft Certifications (nice to have but not mandatory). Education : - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
