SDLC Specialist - Agile Methodologies

Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced SDLC Specialist to oversee and manage all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle. The candidate will ensure efficient management of software development projects, from requirements gathering to system maintenance. The role will involve working closely with project managers, developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the required Responsibilities Gathering & Analysis : - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define software requirements. - Conduct feasibility studies and prepare system designs based on user needs. - Develop detailed specifications and documentation for new software Design & Architecture : - Work with the development team to design scalable, maintainable, and high-performance software architectures. - Define software design patterns, frameworks, and best practices to follow throughout the development : - Oversee the coding, testing, and debugging of software applications. - Ensure that the software development follows best practices, including code reviews and version control. - Contribute to coding when required, or collaborate with development teams on the coding & Maintenance : - Ensure smooth deployment of software applications to production. - Collaborate with IT and operations teams to ensure proper deployment and post-launch monitoring. - Manage software updates, bug fixes, and patches. - Perform regular system checks and troubleshoot any issues that arise & Reporting : - Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation for each phase of the SDLC. - Create user manuals, technical guides, and system documentation for stakeholders. - Prepare progress reports and ensure communication with senior management on project Improvement : - Evaluate the performance of current SDLC practices and implement improvements. - Keep up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and methodologies in SDLC and software Skills and Qualifications : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. - Proven experience working within the SDLC, particularly in software development, testing, and deployment. - Strong knowledge of software development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, etc.). - Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or .NET. - Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). - Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, or similar). - Knowledge of testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG). - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical and Qualifications required : - Knowledge of SDLC Methodologies : Strong understanding of various SDLC methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid approaches. - Technical Proficiency : Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project), and version control systems (e.g., Git).
