Reliance Infrastructure - SAP FICO Consultant - SD/MM/PP Modules

We are looking for a skilled SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling) Consultant with 4 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, and support of SAP FICO modules to streamline financial processes and reporting in alignment with business needs. You will work closely with finance teams and technical resources to deliver effective SAP solutions. Key Responsibilities : - Lead and execute end-to-end SAP FICO implementations including requirement gathering, blueprinting, system configuration, testing, go-live, and post-production support. - Design and configure SAP Financial Accounting (FI) components such as General Ledger Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, and Financial Closing. - Configure and support Controlling (CO) components including Cost Element Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), and Product Costing. - Analyze business requirements, assess current financial processes, and propose SAP FICO solutions that comply with legal, regulatory, and corporate standards. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (MM, SD, PP, HR, BASIS) to ensure seamless integration of SAP FICO with other modules. - Prepare detailed functional specifications for custom reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF objects). - Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for SAP FICO developments. - Provide support and troubleshooting for SAP FICO issues during and after implementation. - Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes in SAP. - Prepare and deliver training materials and user manuals for end-users. - Assist in data migration and validation for financial master and transactional data. - Stay updated on SAP FICO best practices, SAP S/4HANA finance innovations, and regulatory changes impacting finance. - Participate in audits and compliance reviews related to SAP financial data and processes. Required Skills and Competencies : - Strong expertise in SAP FI sub-modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting (BA), and Financial Closing. - Hands-on experience in SAP CO sub-modules: Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders (IO), Product Costing, Profitability Analysis (CO-PA). - Deep understanding of finance and accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and statutory reporting. - Experience with SAP integration points between FI-CO and other modules such as MM, SD, and HR. - Proficiency in configuration of SAP Financial and Controlling modules. - Knowledge of SAP tools like LSMW, BAPI, IDOCs for data migration and integration. - Ability to draft functional specifications and work with technical teams (ABAP) for custom development. - Experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance and understanding of Fiori apps is a plus. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and within a team. - Familiarity with project methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall. Preferred Qualifications : - Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or Information Technology. - SAP Certified Application Associate - Financial Accounting with SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA certification. - Experience in multinational corporations or consulting firms. - Knowledge of SAP Treasury and Risk Management, and SAP Tax solutions is an advantage. - Experience with electronic bank statement processing and cash management. - Exposure to SAP Central Finance is a plus. Experience : - 4 to 12 years of SAP FICO experience in implementation, support, and upgrade projects. - Proven track record of delivering SAP FICO projects end-to-end. - Hands-on experience in complex financial process design and SAP configuration. - Experience with finance transformation projects and process automation is preferred.
