IT Field Technician

Job Description Job Description We are seeking a skilled IT Field Technician to join our growing support team. In this role, you will be assigned to designated client sites across Brooklyn, the Bronx, and Queens, providing hands-on technical support, installations, and troubleshooting services. Key Responsibilities: Provide on-site support for hardware, software, and network-related issues at client locations. Install and manage structured cabling, VoIP phones, access points, and other IT infrastructure components. Perform hardware exchanges and peripheral replacements, ensuring minimal downtime. Collaborate with Level II and Lead Technicians to resolve technical issues effectively and efficiently. Configure and deploy hardware and software, ensuring proper application setup and client confirmation of issue resolution. Document all service activities and ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Maintain accurate inventory records and manage the ordering process to replenish equipment and supplies. Provide timely follow-ups with end users, updating them on the status of their service requests. Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, with clients and internal teams. Prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality service standards. Qualifications: Proven experience in field IT support, including troubleshooting and equipment installation. Strong understanding of IT operations, customer support procedures, and SLA compliance. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
