Class 1 Driver

GI Group are currently recruiting for multiple Class 1 Drivers for our Internationally known delivery company.Shifts:We are looking for Class 1 Drivers to work afternoon & night shifts: 1300-2100 starts Select your own shift pattern Full-time and Part-time work is available Weekend work only is available Average 10-12 hour shift Pay & Benefits: Monday to Friday: - £19.27 per hour Saturday: £24.53 per hour Sunday: £27.38 per hour * Please note that pay rates include holiday payThese rates are PAYE and we do not engage with Umbrella contracts.Main Duties will include: Conducting Vehicle checks Clean & Easy Class 1 trunking work to depots Securing loads Delivering safely to customers throughout the UK Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met The Candidate: A positive attitude and work ethic, always keen to learn new skills A presentable appearance and an eye for detail No more than 6 penalty points Hold a valid, in date Tachograph & CPC No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes Must be able to read, write and communicate in English to adhere to health and safety requirements Have good customer service skills Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver Drivers with 6-12 months experience may be considered depending on work history If you are interested in this role, please click apply today!Drivers & logistics professionals wanted for temporary & permanent vacancies text "DRIVER" before your name, location and driving licence category to 88802Company Culture / Why Work for UsWe're committed to working with safe & efficient logistics companies.
