Responsibilities include assisting with all operational tasks delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations, and helping with hiring, training, and development of store associates. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager Help protect and secure all company assets, including cash Follow all policies and safety guidelines Maintain a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors Keep store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery When the Store Manager is absent, oversee hourly Associates Process all corporate directives and related store activities Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies Ensure proper staffing coverage and sales effectiveness daily Manage cashiering activities to follow cash handling practices Maintain store displays and seasonal areas for promotional effectiveness Coordinate signage and merchandise replenishment Assist with weekly scheduling and supplies management Help maximize impulse sales at checkout and maintain store displays Minimum Requirements/Qualifications Prior retail and management experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs Ability to work in a high-energy team environment We value our associates' contributions and offer health programs, paid time off, retirement plans, and stock purchase options.
