Field Sales Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Shorrock Automation operates across various industries, including Automotive, Railway Systems, Power Engineering, Manufacturing, Building Technology, Lighting Technology, and Energy Data Management. The successful candidate will be required to facilitate all sales-related tasks and showcase and present topics to customers related to our product portfolios from WAGO, Ewon, Intesis, Enless Wireless, and CP Electronics. Candidate Traits: We are looking for an individual seeking a long-term position. The successful candidate will be an innovative individual with a positive attitude, eager to grow and learn. Commercial awareness, coupled with both a strong Sales and Technical background, will pave the way for success in this role. Requirements: This is a Technical Sales position. The successful candidate will be required to present products and consult with customers who often have an extensive technical background in their designated field. Therefore, for you to be able to assist these customers, it is crucial to meet the basic requirements listed below. Shorrock Automation will provide in-house product-specific and sales training; however, the successful candidate should meet the minimum Technical and Sales experiences as a baseline to grow further. Technical Experience: In terms of technical experience, you should have one or more of the below qualifications: National Certificate (Electrical). Higher National Certificate (Electrical). Electrical trade with a minimum of 3 years working experience. Instrumentation trade minimum 3 years working experience. Sales Experience: In terms of Sales experience, the following skills will be advantageous: Ability to effectively communicate technical solutions to clients. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with Industrial Automation Products. A good knowledge of PLCs is advantageous. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
