Role Responsibilities Managing a portfolio of around 300 personal tax clients, preparing tax returns, and assisting with related queries Liaising with HMRC to amend tax codes, request refunds, and resolve ad hoc issues Attending client meetings and calls, supporting the discussion and clarification of personal tax matters Preparing and filing Capital Gains Tax returns Registering trusts on the Trust Registration Service (TRS) Gaining exposure to Corporation Tax, with opportunities to support the team on company tax returns over time About the Firm This well-established and respected accountancy practice has been serving clients across Worcestershire and beyond for decades. Candidate Requirements Some prior experience in tax or accountancy (within a practice environment preferred) Strong numeracy, attention to detail, and organisational skills A friendly and professional manner with excellent written and verbal communication A willingness to learn and take initiative, wit a proactive and client-focused approach Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with tax software is a plus A strong interest in pursuing the ATT qualification (study support provided) Why Malvern?
