As a Global Supply Chain Manager for Ruhrpumpen’s Industrial Business Unit, you will be responsible the integral management of inventory and purchasing logistics for the different CFF's, ensuring the optimization of operations to guarantee on-time deliveries, planned costs and an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Primary Responsibilities: Definition and Inventory Levels: Establish and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand and minimize warehousing costs based on history and current quotes considering product hit rate. Implement inventory monitoring and control systems to identify trends and proactively adjust levels. Constant monitoring of inventory imbalance. Logistics and Delivery Efficiency: Develop and manage logistics processes to ensure timely deliveries. Collaborate with suppliers and carriers to optimize costs and delivery times. Analyze and continuously improve distribution routes and methods. Purchasing and Supplier Development: Work with the material purchasing departments of the various plants to ensure that orders are placed on time and always make the best decisions on cost and time to ensure on-time delivery. Continually look for cost reduction opportunities by seeking new sourcing alternatives. Develop together with the Purchasing department new suppliers. Customer Experience: Ensure that materials management and logistics contribute to a smooth and satisfactory buying experience. Collect and analyze customer feedback to identify areas of improvement in the delivery process and inventory management. Work closely with sales, customer service and production teams to align with market needs and company objectives. Provide regular reports on inventory and logistics performance to senior management. Constantly measure inventory turnover in the different business units. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (required). Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, or materials management. At least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role, with a proven track record of team development and performance. Strong proficiency in inventory management systems and logistics software (e.g., ERP, MRP, WMS). Demonstrated strategic thinking and ability to make data-driven decisions that align with business goals. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills , with a continuous improvement mindset. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills , with the ability to collaborate across departments and cultures. Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required; additional languages are a plus. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment , managing multiple priorities effectively. Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time, both domestically and internationally.
