* Job Title: * Phlebotomist III – Floater * Location: * Springfield, VA 22150 * Duration: * 6 months (possible extension) * Shift: * Monday – Thursday: 8 am – 5 pm Friday: 8 am – 3 pm * Phlebotomy Certification or Medical Assistant Certification. * * Roles and responsibilities: * · Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures. · Have direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner. · Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection. Phlebotomy experience - pediatric and geriatric capillary and venipuncture - required. · Demonstrate Leadership Behaviors while focusing on process excellence skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy to patient information. · Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures. · Maintains required records and documentation. · Demonstrates organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public in general *Required Qualifications: * · Five years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections. · Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred. · High school diploma or equivalent. · Phlebotomy Certification or Medical Assistant Certification. * * *Skills: * · Keyboard/data entry. · Customer services. · Excellent phlebotomy skills to include paediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections. *Start your search today and take the first step toward your dream job Click below to explore your options: [ Explore Phlebotomist Jobs](https://phlebotomistjobs.us/search-jobs/)
