Multi Skilled Operator (Food Manufacturing)

The Role A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Operator to work in our facility in Severn Beach. The main purpose of this role is to assist the line leaders in running automated production lines or to run the semi-automated/manual production lines Main responsibilities: · To assist the shift managers in identifying the optimum run rates · Monitor production / Machine Operators performance on the line they are running · Lead by example · Carry out visual quality inspections as we run and report any issues · Operate the Line to achieve targets for run rates, changeover times and yield · To produce at an efficient output rate whilst maintaining product quality and food safety standards · To carry out all the necessary CCP/weight/product appearance checks and record on the worksheet · Close out worksheets and post pallets on Nav in a timely fashion · Perform all required safety checks and start up checks · To operate using the correct pallet map and product quality sheets · Uphold the hygiene (GMP) and safety standards of the company · To operate our clean as you go policy at all times · To weigh and record hand filled products every 15 minutes when working on hand fill lines Person specification/Qualifications/Capabilities: · Attention to detail. · Strong communication skills. Hours and location of work: The hours for this role are 40 hours per week Monday – Friday on rotating shifts of 5.30am-2.00pm and 1.30pm-10.00pm at Severn Beach with a salary of £34,313.
