Job Description We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Legal Counsel (Employment) to join our Legal & Governance team. This role is pivotal in providing top-tier employment law advice to our organisation both in the UK and internationally. If you are proactive and a strategic thinker with a strong background in employment law, we would love to hear from you. What you'll be doing: Providing employment legal advice to all business divisions to further strategic and commercial objectives Advising HR teams and business managers on day-to-day employment matters such as policies and procedures Advising on contentious employment legal matters Overseeing TUPE processes including outsourcing, insourcing, and business acquisitions Supporting corporate transactions and due diligence processes Delivering training and guidance to HR on managing complex legal matters Advising on contractual employment issues Qualifications Who we're looking for: 2.1 or above degree from a recognised UK university or equivalent qualification Qualified solicitor in England and Wales or another jurisdiction Experience working in-house financial services is desirable Detailed knowledge of statutory, regulatory and common employment law Awareness of legislative changes and best practices in financial services Competence in using IT systems such as Microsoft Word Approximately 5 years' post-qualification experience Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you.
