Business Intelligence Developer

Are you a seasoned Business Intelligence Developer with a passion for transforming raw data into strategic insights? Were looking for a Senior BI Developer to join our clients team and lead the design and development of data solutions that empower business performance and decision-making. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the data strategy by developing robust BI solutions, managing data models, and delivering advanced analytics across the organization. Duties: · Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end BI solutions using tools like Power BI, SQL, and Azure · Create and manage data models, dashboards, and reports that support key business metrics · Lead BI architecture discussions and contribute to the overall data strategy · Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions · Mentor junior BI developers and promote best practices in data governance and visualization Skills: · 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence or data analytics roles · Advanced skills in Power BI, SQL, DAX, and data modeling · Strong experience with ETL tools and data warehousing (e.g., SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Synapse) · Deep understanding of data architecture, reporting best practices, and performance optimization · Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams Nice to Have: · Experience with cloud BI platforms (Microsoft Azure preferred) · Familiarity with tools like Tableau, SSAS, or Snowflake · Background in financial, retail, or enterprise-scale reporting environments Should you meet the requirements for this position, please email your CV to it.vacancy@stand-outstaffing.co.za .
