Warehouse Team Leader

Key Performance Areas: Daily management and supervision of the team Generation of daily reports and taking corrective action when performance targets are not met Manpower planning and ensuring station ergonomics are adhered to Oversight of scrap control and quality-related processes Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety and HR policies and procedures Maintaining high standards of workplace housekeeping Supporting Work-in-Progress (WIP) and sorting activities Minimum Skills and Qualifications Required: Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics or equivalent qualification Minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory or management role Relevant qualification in Manaugement, Supervision, or Logistics Valid drivers license (preferred) Valid forklift license (required) Experience with inventory or "product on hand" systems will be advantageous Strong computer literacy, with above-average proficiency in Microsoft Excel Key Behavioural Competencies: Proven ability to effectively lead, monitor, and guide a team Motivational leadership style with a consistently positive attitude Strong problem-solving abilities with effective multitasking skills High attention to detail with a strong sense of urgency Goal-oriented and performance-driven Demonstrates high levels of integrity and leads by example
