Now Hiring: Patient Access Coordinator – Dental Specialties (Pediatrics, Endodontics, Orthodontics) Wilton Manors, FL | Full-Time | $17.35/hour | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Nova Southeastern University (NSU) is seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Patient Access Coordinator to support our pediatric dental specialties team. Based at our Kids Pediatric Dental Care Center , this role plays a critical part in providing exceptional front desk support for Pediatrics, Endodontics, and Orthodontics patients and families. If you have experience in insurance verification, authorizations, and patient registration , and you thrive in a service-driven environment, we’d love to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: Manage front desk operations, including patient check-in, registration, and payments. Process insurance-related transactions (Medicaid, Medicare, HMO, vision). Verify insurance coverage and secure authorizations to ensure service eligibility. Handle patient scheduling and appointment coordination. Resolve patient concerns while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and university guidelines. ✅ What You’ll Bring: High school diploma and 2 years of administrative or customer service experience – OR – Associate’s degree with 1 year of related experience. Strong communication skills and a professional, compassionate demeanor. Experience with electronic medical record systems is a plus. Bilingual skills in Spanish/English or Haitian Creole/English preferred. Why Join NSU?
