Position Summary: Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist Location: Elmhurst, NY 11373 Schedule: Day Shift: Day (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM EST) Pay Range: $3000-$3750/ Gross Weekly Overview: Job Description: We are seeking a licensed and experienced Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience and a strong background in pharmacy operations, sterile processing, and IV preparation. This role requires excellent attention to detail, knowledge of pharmacy dispensing systems, and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs). Key Responsibilities: Review and interpret medication orders to ensure accuracy, appropriateness, and patient safety Prepare, dispense, and verify medications in accordance with professional standards and hospital policies Mix and compound sterile preparations in the IV room under USP and guidelines Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy Maintain accurate records of dispensed medications and controlled substances Use pharmacy dispensing software and EMR systems to process orders and document patient care Participate in quality assurance, inventory management, and regulatory compliance activities Qualifications: Valid Pharmacist license issued by the New York State Education Department (NYSED) – Primary Source Verification required Minimum of 1 year of experience as a licensed Pharmacist Experience with pharmacy dispensing systems (e.g., Pyxis, Omnicell) IV room and sterile processing experience required Familiarity with EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) preferred GlobalDeliveryTravel
