They provide surface transportation and logistics solutions throughout North America, This role has excellent growth and advancement opportunity as well as long-term potential. Profit sharing after 6 month learning phase. First year expectation depending on base is $55k to $75k. Potential to make $100k the 2nd year. This is based on team performance, profit sharing and revenue under management. Majority of your role will be making sure shipments are scheduled, picked up and delivered on time, managing shipments. A few days a week; light sales calls to carriers and building relationships The team is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Logistics /Carrier Sales Account Manager to join their fast-growing logistics team.This role combines operations and carrier sales, making it perfect for someone who excels in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and seeks career growth in the logistics industry.You will play a critical role in ensuring shipments are scheduled, picked up, and delivered on timewhile also managing carrier relationships to keep freight moving efficiently across North America. You will be supporting our sales team and delivering outstanding customer and carrier experiences. Responsibilities: Schedule and coordinate pick-up and delivery times across FTL, LTL, and drayage. Negotiate rates and service terms with carrier partners. Ability to navigate phone calls and speak with carriers Communicate effectively with shippers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations. Accurately manage shipment details using our transportation platform for real-time visibility. Track shipments and provide timely, proactive updates to clients. Source and manage carrier relationships to move freight efficiently. Monitor performance and resolve issues quickly to ensure on-time delivery. Expand the existing carrier base and identify new capacity opportunities. Assist Account Managers and the Director of Operations with reporting, data entry, and customer support tasks. Qualifications: 2 years experience in Logistics, Carrier or Transportation Sales Account Manager role; will consider applicants from hotel or aviation industry Must have experience and very comfortable speaking with customers on the phone. Requires excellent phone etiquettes and communication skills; outgoing and love to pick the phone and start conversations. Must have these soft skills: Process & Improvement-orientation. Handling Setbacks & Problem-Solving Under Pressure. Hungry, Humble, Smart Detail-Oriented Workflow Accuracy/Learning from mistakes - able to focus high attention to detail. Experience with providing excellent customer service; conflict resolution and empathetic Experience or interest in business development, negotiation rates and terms, identifying new opportunities and carrier sales (no cold calling; creating relationships and value) Comfortable with light sales; talk to people you have not talked to before to expand and identify new opportunities Experience to manage carrier relationships or similar relationships Experience in making sure shipments is scheduled, picked up and delivered on time Experience in tracking and managing shipments and making sure freight is moving across the country. Attention to detail with data entry work; inputting carrier information accurately. Bonus: Experience with logistics software (i.e. TMS- Transportation Management System or ability to learn new systems easily WMS, OMS, Emodal, dispatch software) Able to work a flexible schedule; starting times can be 6am-9am PST; at times might start 6am PST.
