Client Manager Are you a well-rounded accounting professional? Looking to step into a client-facing role with real progression potential? A well-established and growing accountancy practice in Saffron Walden is looking to appoint an experienced and proactive Client Manager to manage a diverse portfolio of clients. The role offers a broad mix of accounts preparation, corporate and personal tax work, and management accounts analysis—perfect for someone who enjoys variety and autonomy, with the support of a friendly, close-knit team. Role Responsibilities Managing a mixed portfolio of clients across various industries and sizes Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts, corporate and personal tax returns, and management accounts Analysing financial data to offer insight and added value to clients Acting as the primary point of contact for client queries and communications Supervising junior team members, reviewing their work, and providing guidance and mentorship Collaborating with the wider team and reporting directly to senior management Contributing to internal process improvements and practice development About the Firm This independent accountancy practice has built a strong reputation in the Essex and Cambridgeshire region for delivering clear, practical, and personal financial advice. With a broad and loyal client base ranging from small businesses to high-net-worth individuals, the firm offers a full range of services in accounts, tax, and business support.
