A brand-new position is opening within our GDP Transport division! QUALITY MANAGER FOR WALDEN GDP TRANSPORT Scope Walden GDP Transport: 8 Eurotranspharma affiliates 6 Transpharma international affiliates Geographical coverage: Europe Interaction with 12 local QE heads Quality management 6 standards. Quality: Good Distribution Practices, ISO 9001. Security: International Air Transport Association Transported Asset Protection Association Regulated Agent. Customs: Authorized Economic Operator Reports to The role reports to the Quality & Environment Director for Walden GDP Transport. Main Objectives While acting as Deputy Walden GDP Transport QE Director, the incumbent will: 1 - Run global Quality Management System/governance and execute corporate Quality processes 2 - Ensure that Walden GDP Transport’s Quality guiding principles and standards are in place & in use across network 3 - Make sure that local regulatory obligations are met and Quality standards are in place to get and maintain targeted certificates 4 - Monitor Quality management performance across network 5 - Implement Quality strategy and tactics as defined by senior management 6 - Support business development 7 - Support local Quality teams across the Walden GDP transport network Key responsibilities/results Hold Quality responsibility for Walden GDP Transport (Freight Forwarding Shipment Based Transport Route Based Transport) under the accountability of Walden GDP Transport QE Director Run and improve global Quality Management System for Walden GDP Transport while linking in with overall Walden Quality System/Architecture roadmap Execute corporate Quality processes (Documentation, Training, Validation, Event, Non-Conformity, CAPA, Change Control, Audit, Risk management, Management Review) whenever relevant. Ensure alignment of local Quality processes across network through the creation of global SOPs, organizational guidelines, common templates and forms. Collate all existing qualifications that pertain to Quality (see SCOPE) and ensure all territories are adhering to same qualification standards Support reporting exercise incumbent on Walden Monitor and support Quality management performance versus objectives and targets through Quality Steering Committee and Touchpoints Extend existing QMS to new legal entities Cover Quality aspects of client tender questionnaires Sign global Quality contracts - Monitor signature/review of Quality contracts with clients/suppliers Support Monthly Business Review preparation Work with the Skandi Lease team for the technical definition of new vehicles and maintain fleet inventory Elaborate and test the Business Continuity Plan with local entities Member of the Quality Community Leadership Team within Walden and as such will be considered a key opinion leader within the function Experience required 5-year post qualification experience, 2 of which must be at management level Working experience within Transportation/Logistics Environment is a plus Skills Working knowledge GMP/GDP Comfortable and at ease with operating within the transport industry Pragmatic, acts with pace, continuous improvement mindset Ability to deliver through others and bring on journey with straight talking approach Must be business fluent in English. Working knowledge of French and/or German and/or Spanish is a plus Qualifications Relevant second level Degree/Qualification Ability to work as a Deputy Work location The role can be based at any of the following locations: Roissy -en-France (France) Créteil (France) Brussels Zaventem (Belgium) Houdeng-Goegnies (Belgium) A hybrid work scheme applies for this position (up to 60% work from home), however it requires the flexibility to travel for business reasons once a month , at national or international level (in one of the following countries: Belgium, Czeck Republic, England, France, Germany, Italy, Romania, Spain, The Netherlands).
