Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Menu & Nutritional Planning Collaborate with nutritionists and chefs to develop menus that support healthy eating and corporate wellness goals Adjust offerings for dietary restrictions (e.g., vegan, gluten-free, low-GI) Corporate Catering Coordinate daily breakfast/lunch services, meetings, and executive boardroom catering Manage catering for internal events, workshops, and VIP functions Ensure on-time delivery and professional presentation Wellness Event Support Oversee catering for wellness programs (e.g., yoga retreats, mindfulness sessions, fitness challenges) Support health-aligned meal plans for wellness centre participants Team Leadership Supervise, train, and schedule catering staff Maintain a positive and motivated work environment Operations & Budget Management Manage food and supply budgets, sourcing high-quality ingredients Monitor cost-efficiency without compromising health or quality Maintain inventory and ordering processes Compliance & Quality Control Ensure hygiene standards and food safety compliance (HACCP-aligned) Oversee cleanliness of kitchen and service areas Conduct regular quality checks and feedback reviews REQUIREMENTS Tertiary qualification in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or Nutrition (an added advantage) Minimum 5 years in a catering management or hospitality supervisory role (Essential) Knowledge of nutrition and wellness-oriented meal planning Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities Excellent communication and client service skills Computer literate (Microsoft Office, basic catering software) RUMUNERATION R15,000 To R20,000 Per Month (Negotiable depending on experience and or qualification)
