Equipment Management Supervisor - Mortar Powder /Coating Mexico City Manufacturing Plant

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Equipment Management Supervisor to oversee the maintenance, optimization, and safety of machinery and equipment at our Mortar powder manufacturing facility in Mexico City. The ideal candidate will ensure operational efficiency, minimize downtime, and lead a team of technicians to maintain world-class standards in equipment performance. Key Responsibilities: 1.Maintenance Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement preventive/predictive maintenance programs for plant equipment (e.g., crushers, mills, conveyors, packaging systems). Coordinate daily maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules. Troubleshoot equipment failures and oversee timely repairs. 2.Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians and engineers. Conduct training programs to enhance technical skills, safety awareness, and compliance. 3.Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols (OSHA, local regulations) and environmental standards. Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments. 4.Inventory & Cost Control: Manage spare parts inventory and optimize procurement processes. Monitor maintenance budgets and reduce operational costs through efficiency improvements. 5.Continuous Improvement: Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and recommend upgrades or replacements. Collaborate with production teams to implement process optimization initiatives. 6.Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and compliance reports. Prepare performance reports for senior management. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field. Experience: 5 years of experience in industrial equipment management, preferably in sand powder, cement, or construction materials manufacturing. Proven track record in leading maintenance teams in a high-volume production environment. Skills: Strong technical knowledge of heavy machinery and automation systems. Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems). Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills (English & Spanish required). Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and predictive maintenance tools (e.g., vibration analysis, thermography). Mortar and powder, Coating factory experience are preferred.
