Job Title: Supply Drama Teacher Contract Type: Full-Time (Supply) Location: Bishop David Brown School Start Date: As soon as possible End Date: End of Summer Term Job Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Supply Drama Teacher to join our vibrant and creative performing arts department on a temporary basis, covering until the end of the summer term. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Drama specialist to inspire students and deliver engaging lessons in a supportive school environment. Key Responsibilities: Teach Drama across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential) Deliver dynamic and inclusive lessons that encourage creativity and confidence Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with departmental and exam board expectations Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment Contribute to the wider school community where possible, including extracurricular drama activities Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification Experience teaching Drama in a UK secondary school setting Strong classroom management and communication skills Passion for the performing arts and ability to motivate students of all abilities Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one) Benefits: Competitive daily rate Supportive and collaborative department Opportunity to gain experience in a well-regarded school If you are an inspiring Drama teacher available for an immediate or upcoming start, we’d love to hear from you!
