Production Operative

Production Operative – Full Time Location: Lancaster Pay: £14.56 per hour We are currently recruiting for full-time Production Operatives to join a busy and fast-paced manufacturing environment. Shift Pattern: * Initial training: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (approx. 1 month) * Following training: 4 on 4 off rotating shifts * 2 day shifts (07:00 – 19:00) * 2 night shifts (19:00 – 07:00) * 4 days off About the Role: As a Production Operative, you’ll play a key role in the manufacturing process, ensuring raw materials are handled correctly and production runs efficiently. This is a hands-on role at the core of the operation, with opportunities for growth and development. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out daily equipment checks and report any issues * Maintain equipment in line with operating procedures * Keep the production area clean and organised * Operate material handling equipment (training provided) * Move raw materials and finished goods within the facility * Prepare materials in line with product specifications * Report any quality concerns or damage * Accurately complete all required documentation * Support wider team operations when required What We’re Looking For: * Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting * Good communication and teamwork skills * FLT licence is an advantage, but not essential What’s on Offer: * £14.56 per hour * Company progression * Discounted staff shop * Competitive pension scheme * Free on-site parking * Full training and development opportunities Ready for a new challenge in a supportive, fast-paced environment?
