THE ROLE The Demand Planning Manager will be key to leading cross-functional team efforts in accurately forecasting demand for Canyon Business. This role will ensure high quality and accuracy by feeding forecasts at the SKU level, incorporating external and internal inputs into the forecasting process to serve the customer in the marketplace. It plays a critical part in aligning business strategies with operational execution, ensuring optimized stock levels and improved forecast accuracy. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, experience with demand planning tools, and the ability to develop and maintain long-lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders. YOUR JOB AS PART OF THE CANYON CREW Drive an aligned 24-month rolling demand forecasting process at the SKU level, focusing on mid- to long-term growth opportunities for Canyon. Utilize o9 Solutions Demand Planning Tool to develop and maintain forecasts, interpreting data from statistical models. Collaborate with Sales, Category, and Supply Chain teams to align forecasts with business strategies (consensus demand). Regularly update the o9 tool to develop and refine forecast accuracy metrics (MAPE, BIAS), and communicate forecast changes to stakeholders in a timely manner. Monitor and optimize size curves based on sell-through performance, regional demand patterns, and digital insights from Canyon.com. Support the S&OP process, in close alignment with Supply Planning, Category, and Finance. Work closely with the Supply Planning Team by providing the right input to deliver appropriate inventory levels to meet customer demand. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, drive a culture of continuous improvement, and explore automation opportunities to scale operations. How You Become Part Of The Race Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or similar. 4-5 years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, or Retail Planning. Strong proficiency in forecasting tools (hands-on experience with o9 preferred), capable of translating data into insights and optimizing demand processes. Excellent knowledge of MS Office and reporting/visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, SAP). Self-starter attitude—able to navigate ambiguous scenarios and communicate proactively with stakeholders. Excellent communication skills to influence decision-making across teams; experience in complex organizational matrices. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
