Partner with the best The Material Expert is responsible for managing material requirements and transactions arising from non-conformities or service requests. They drive supply and repair activities with suppliers and within the organization to ensure execution excellence at the project level in Avenza. Responsibilities include: Managing material supply and/or repair related to non-conformities, observations, or service requests raised by Site Quality/Contractors, from POR release to material collection and shipment to contractors or customer sites. Collaborating with Operations, Quality, and Logistics to ensure material readiness aligned with project needs. Working with suppliers and fulfillment departments to expedite material readiness and arrival at Avenza. Releasing POR/PO for the entire Module organization for various module sizes (PAU). Implementing continuous improvement and digital initiatives for material management. Seeking opportunities for cost savings across the business. Qualifications for success: Associate's Degree in Supply Chain or related field, or equivalent experience (2 years). BSc degree (preferably in Engineering) from an accredited university. High awareness of health, safety, and environmental practices. Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and develop efficient solutions. Ability to work effectively across functions in a global-matrix environment. Fluency in English and Italian, with an EU work permit. Good knowledge of site planning. Proficiency with ERP systems (Oracle preferred). Knowledge of manufacturing disciplines such as production, inventory control, and standard cost systems. Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications. Willingness to meet challenging requirements. Preferred: Certifications such as APICS.
