GCP Platform Site Reliability Engineer Generate maximum value for product teams working in SCRM by providing tools for CI/CD, GitOps, observability, infrastructure, and more to improve developer experience and reduce cognitive load. Be involved throughout the software development lifecycle with responsibilities in deploying, maintaining, operating, and monitoring cloud infrastructure. Build and enhance the platform to transition from single to multi-Cloud Kubernetes environments. Automate processes and facilitate a self-service approach via the Developer Portal, maintaining product teams' independence and control over their infrastructure. Research and innovate to identify new tools for the teams. Collaborate with other domain experts to find optimal solutions for the company. Your Profile Deep experience with Google Cloud Platform. Extensive knowledge of cloud infrastructure, especially in Kubernetes complex environments. Proficiency with Terraform, GitOps, and observability tools (Grafana, Opentelemetry, Prometheus, Loki, Tempo, Mimir). Knowledge of cloud networking strategies and security. Experience with non-relational databases, especially Cosmos DB and MongoDB. Experience with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL. Familiarity with message broker solutions like RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, Event Hub, Kafka, etc. Understanding of caching and optimization strategies using Redis, CDNs, and others. Experience building development platforms. At least 7 years of experience as an SRE and/or platform engineer. Hands-on approach with accountability for designed solutions. Open-mindedness and ability to manage cross-area initiatives. Experience working in large enterprise environments, interacting with over 30 teams and impacting more than 10 million customers daily.
