IT Test Manager

Social network you want to login / join with : Temporary contract option available (Limited to 6 months - Conversion to freelance needed afterwards) Schedule : 3-4 days onsite in Madrid Duration : 1 year plus extension As a Senior (technical) Test Manager, you will join our ART Channels team (primarily e-banking solutions) and define/refine the ART level Test Strategy. You will provide guidance and coaching to teams, focusing on implementing Shift-Left, test automation, and transparent reporting without compromising quality in monthly releases. Additionally, you will oversee other applications within the same domain as Channels. RESPONSIBILITIES Act as ART and Domain Test Manager, overseeing all testing aspects including functional and non-functional testing, test environments, data, automation tools, and reporting. Coordinate with ART Leadership and CoE Testing to align domain and ART test strategies with the Global Test Strategy (GTS). Coach and support agile teams in implementing the ART test strategy, providing hands-on support if necessary. Promote a sustainable quality mindset across ART and Domain. Drive continuous improvement, shift-left testing, and test automation initiatives. Ensure compliance with quality gates and consult on sign-off decisions; serve as escalation point for quality issues. Continuously report execution status and results throughout the delivery pipeline. Monitor PenTest findings and risks. Manage Go/No-Go meetings for releases. Review adherence to RFC and Readiness proofs according to audit standards. YOUR PROFILE 5 years’ experience as a Test Manager in complex environments, covering all SDLC testing aspects, including reporting. 3 years’ experience in agile environments; SAFe methodology is a strong plus. Proven experience in creating test concepts, especially in agile setups. Hands-on approach to support and coach agile teams, focusing on Shift-Left testing. Solid experience with test automation frameworks/tools (open source and commercial) across all test levels, including development. Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins) and supporting their implementation for testing. Familiarity with JIRA (XRAY for TM is a plus). Basic knowledge of banking; experience in financial industry and e-banking solutions is a strong plus. Education and Skills : BSc / MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Excellent command of English. ISTQB Foundation Level certification; Advanced Level TM certification is a plus. Scaled Agile (SAFe) certification is a plus. High responsibility and assertiveness.
