The Technical Product Manager (TPM) role in the Access UI Pillar sits within the Technology organization and represents the customer on the Agile team. It is the TPM’s responsibility to ensure the team is focused on the right work and priorities, and to help the team achieve their sprint commitments by providing clear and complete requirements. What is Smartpoint Cloud? Smartpoint Cloud is a web-based point of sale platform designed to be the best product in its class in the market. It offers a flexible, fast, and intuitive way of shopping and booking travel content for our large network of travel agency customers. Built using the latest industry technologies, Smartpoint Cloud enables Travelport to be the partner of choice for those excited by new ideas and innovative ways of doing things. Responsibilities: Accountable for synchronizing with the Product Managers and other TPMs to ensure new work is added to the backlog and prioritized appropriately. Responsible for developing user stories from requirements by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to align product design and development to deliver ROI. Ensure everyone in the team understands the user stories and is aligned during the sprint. Prioritize the team backlog. Coordinate with product delivery teams and design colleagues to ensure activities are delivered with the required quality, on time, and within budget. Work with development teams and architecture to implement user stories, including undocumented edge cases and non-functional requirements. Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings. Define User Acceptance Criteria & Sign Off. Develop deep functional product knowledge and understanding of the technical systems supporting it. What we look for / who would prosper in this role? 1-3 years of experience as a Technical Product Manager, Product Owner, or Business Analyst. Knowledge of Agile principles. Exposure to technical concepts, product owner techniques, tools, and principles. Experience with Behavior Driven Development. Experience providing online documentation and resources to external users. Technical or Developer background is a plus. Excellent verbal, written, and attention-to-detail skills. Ability and desire to work with people worldwide. Strong collaboration skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams and facilitate consensus.
