Security Technician

Job Description Job Description Job Summary: We're seeking a skilled Access Control Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, servicing, and maintaining access control systems, CCTV, and related security systems. This role requires excellent troubleshooting skills, a strong understanding of access control systems, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: Install, service, and repair access control systems, including both vehicular and pedestrian access control. Install and maintain IP cameras, wiring, terminating, and mounting. Perform low voltage terminations and troubleshooting. Train and instruct staff on creating access cards, profiles, schedules, and maintaining a secure property. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs. Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and questions. Qualifications: 2-3 years of experience as an Access Control Technician or in a similar role .Proficient in low voltage terminations and troubleshooting Experience with IP cameras and access control systems Strong understanding of security systems and best practices Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Certification in access control systems or related fields. Work Environment: This role may require working in various environments, including residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
