Multi-Skilled Operative - Temp to Perm Opportunity Covering local areas (Eastleigh) | Van & Fuel Card | Up to £36.5k Temp to Perm | 40 hrs/week | Call-Out Rota (Extra Pay) We're looking for a Multi-Skilled Operative on behalf of a well-respected housing company. This is a great chance to join a steady team doing a mix of repairs and maintenance work on homes and communal areas. If you've got solid skills in carpentry and plumbing, and you're happy turning your hand to a bit of everything, this could be for you. Role requires a basic DBS - we can provide you with application if succesful What You'll Be Doing General repair work across occupied and empty homes - mostly carpentry, plumbing, and basic masonry Making sure work's done properly, safely, and to a good standard Talking to tenants where needed, being polite and respectful in people's homes Using a work phone/tablet to log jobs and order materials Keeping your van clean, stocked, and road-safe Being part of an on-call rota (every few weeks - paid extra) Helping other trades when needed - it's a team effort ✅ Must-Haves NVQ Level 2 in carpentry, plumbing, or similar - or plenty of hands-on experience to back it up Confidence doing a mix of trades - plumbing fixes, doors, patching, basic brickwork, etc. A full UK driving licence Able to work on your own and manage your time Comfortable using a phone or tablet for job updates Fit and healthy - this is a hands-on role Nice-to-Haves NVQ Level 3 or other trade training Experience working in social housing Used to working to deadlines or using job ticket systems Apply here with your most up to date CV.
