HGV Driver

We are currently looking to recruit for a number of HGV drivers for an ongoing contract in Wolverhampton. Role Requirements of a HGV Driver: Weekday and Weekend shifts Class 1 - £15.50 - £17.93 Per Hour Class 2 - £13.50 to 15.69 Per Hour Weekends paid at a higher rate Various starts available between 5am 8am Must hold a HGV driver entitlement with valid CPC and Tacho Ideally you would need to have no more than 6 points but endorsements such as DD/DR/IN cannot be considered due to insurance criteria. Must have at least 6 months work on license. Role Responsibilities HGV Driver: Safely operate either a HGV vehicle doing general haulage work across the UK this role is a varied one with local multidrops and long distance trunking style work, so no two shifts are the same. Ensure timely and efficient delivery. Perform vehicle safety checks before and after each shift. Adhere to road traffic regulations and company policies. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients. Complete all required paperwork and digital logs accurately.
