Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the restaurant, overseeing staff performance, maintaining service standards, and supporting marketing efforts. This role demands hands-on leadership, a passion for service, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations including opening, closing, cleanliness, and equipment upkeep Coordinate with the kitchen regarding stock levels Manage inventory and supplies effectively Monitor and guide staff performance, offering regular feedback Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment Ensure a consistently high standard of guest experience Address customer concerns and special requests professionally Promote a customer-focused culture among staff Contribute to marketing efforts to drive traffic Manage social media and online review platforms Provide support across all areas as needed (serving, cleaning, kitchen) Lead by example in attitude, ethics, and performance Perform daily cash-ups Key Attributes: Energetic and enthusiastic Team-focused leadership style Guest-service oriented Excellent communicator Hands-on and proactive Requirements: 24 years experience in a restaurant management role Proven leadership of 22 or more staff members Strong customer service and complaint resolution skills Knowledge of inventory management, food safety, and health regulations Competent in conflict resolution and team coaching Computer literate Remuneration: R14 000 - R17 000 Retail hours Including Weekends & Public Holidays Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
