Commercial Workshop Buyer - Sandton, Gauteng

Duties: Source and purchase parts, tools, and consumables required for commercial vehicle repairs and maintenance Liaise with workshop managers and technicians to identify and forecast parts requirements Obtain competitive quotes, evaluate suppliers, and negotiate terms to ensure best value Monitor stock levels and manage inventory to minimize downtime and avoid overstocking Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors Ensure timely delivery of materials while managing lead times and supply chain risks Track and report on procurement KPIs, including cost savings and supplier performance Raise purchase orders, process invoices, and maintain accurate procurement records Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and industry standards Support cost control and budgeting initiatives in alignment with company goals Requirements: Minimum 3-5 years related experience as a workshop buyer in the Automotive industry Attention to detail Communication skills Organizational skills Teamwork Ability to work under pressure Computer Literate Automotive Industry experience ESSENTIAL Please note only candidates with the required experience will be contacted and considered.
