Job Title : Data Architect. Location : Coimbatore. Job Type : Full-time. Experience Required : 12 years. Notice Period : Immediate. Job Summary : We are looking for an experienced Data Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and robust data solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud data architecture, data engineering, and data governance, with hands-on experience in Azure-native services. Key Responsibilities : - Design end-to-end Azure-based data architecture for enterprise-scale applications and analytics platforms. - Lead data platform strategy, including data lake, data warehouse, and real-time processing solutions. - Define best practices for data ingestion, transformation, storage, and consumption using Azure services. - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical data requirements. - Build and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks. - Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and governance standards. - Develop and maintain data models and metadata management solutions. - Work with DevOps teams to automate deployments and monitor data infrastructure performance. Required Skills and Qualifications : - 8 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles. - 4 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions on Microsoft Azure. - Strong knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, Azure Databricks, Blob Storage, Power BI, etc. - Expertise in data modeling (conceptual, logical, and physical models) and data warehouse/lakehouse architecture. - Proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or Spark for data processing. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (e.g., ARM/Bicep/Terraform), and Git. - Solid understanding of data governance, data quality, and security practices. - Excellent communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications : - Azure Data Engineer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect certification. - Experience in real-time data processing using Event Hubs, Stream Analytics, or Kafka. - Familiarity with tools like Purview for data cataloging and governance. - Experience in industries such as healthcare, finance, or retail is a plus.
