Inventory Controller

Qualification Matric Requirements Knowledge of supply chain principles and proficiency with Exports doing inventory Technically minded Knowledge of stock management Computer literate on Inventory Management Software such as SAGE would be beneficial Strong analytical and mathematical skills Duties Stock control procedures Supplier management Reporting and analysis Collaborating with suppliers, warehouse and workshop staff, and other departments to ensure smooth inventory flow and address stock issues. Physical stock counts and monitoring stock movements to identify discrepancies Analysing stock usage patterns to forecast future demand and optimize ordering quantities Oversee the placing of purchase orders with suppliers Monitoring supplier performance regarding delivery times and product quality Implementing and enforcing proper stock control procedures, including FIFO (First In, First Out) method Generating regular inventory reports, including stock levels, slow-moving items, Work in Progress and stock discrepancies Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures regarding inventory management
