Material Planner

Position objective: Efficiently manage the company's inventory to ensure the timely supply of materials used for different projects in order to obtain customer satisfaction by providing quality, cost, and supplier management Main responsibilities: MRP system running rate, Implementation and effectiveness check. Material demand planning definition and release. Supplier capacity evaluation and supplier survey. Material pulling sheet release and follow up. ABCDE material classification and audit with signature. PFEP inventory strategy definition and improvement (for raw material). Need to be launched in early program phase. If any business change, need to review and update the parameter. EOP material assessment: EOP plan, inventory, order, system parameter, obsolete prediction, break point cycle counting, and customer charge back (if needed). Inventory control to make sure inventory turnover days achieve the target. Analyze long age inventory and sluggish, bad debts, old debts timely cleaning. Account reconciliation and payment settlement with raw material suppliers. Lead BOM review, verify system BOM, and have action plan for Mbom errors. Maintain raw material WMS system parameters, including binding of production line location to part number, stock alarm parameters, etc. Follow up, monitor and close interface message such as COGI, GR issues, GI posting in the system. ECN management for raw materials. Master data proedure follow up in case a new part number need to be implemented in MRP System. Material inventory MIN/MAX setting up for raw materials in WMS. Supplier delivery discrepancy record and follow up. Supplier logistics agreement sign up. EDI connection issue follow up and solving with suppliers. Other tasks assigned by material manager. Special requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering, Transport, Logistics or related field 1 year of experience with local and oversea suppliers Experience in automotive industry Intermediate - Advanced English communication skills
