Staff Pharmacist - 241618

The Pharmacist is responsible for the accurate dispensing of prescriptions and performing prospective Drug Utilization Review (DUR) in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations. In addition, this position will oversee day to day operation of pharmacy technicians, pharmacy technician trainees and interns, provide patient counselling and assist the Pharmacy Manager with oversight of daily workflow to maintain operational output and meet patient expectations. The pharmacy is a purely long term care pharmacy - all closed door and there is no retail service at this location. Handles multi dose packing for schools and long term care facilities.
