Main areas of focus and accountability of the role – detailed in order of importance: Application of Standard IT Methods: Utilizes standard IT methods, knowledge, and CEVA standards and practices to tasks and situations. Contributes to the overall work effort by defining project requirements, performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments, and completing project specifications. Response to Unfamiliar Situations: Addresses unfamiliar, undefined, unexpected, or unstable situations with professionally prescribed standard responses. Employs standard analytical tools and rules to determine root causes and resolve a broad range of application problems. Functional Requirements and Production Issues: Writes functional requirements, develops test plans, and addresses production issues. Adheres to project and software development methodologies and processes, and may assist in aligning these processes with project needs. Installation and Data Management: May be involved in the installation and tuning of modifications, as well as archiving data. Generally possesses light programming skills in the appropriate language to develop necessary “workarounds.” Compliance and Regulatory Rules: Understands compliance and regulatory rules and ensures adherence as directed by the manager. Understanding of IT Tools and Concepts: Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the fundamental tools and concepts of one of the information technology teams. Applies this understanding to make independent, practical contributions to moderately complex IT work within a particular CEVA department or function. Skills Advanced experience in business needs analysis and writing functional specifications Experience and/or interest in learning transport, logistics, or supply chain business Global mindset with the ability to think across cultures, functions, and scenarios Ability to work well under pressure and independently Capability to deliver multiple projects simultaneously Strong interest and ability to learn new technologies Basic knowledge of SQL Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience in API projects Basic knowledge of protocols (FTP, SFTP, HTTP, etc.) Experience with webMethods Integration Server Experience in EDI (EDIFACT, ANSI X12, XML, Flat file) Language English (written and spoken) Spanish Professional Background More than 2 years of experience as a solution expert or product owner WHAT DO WE HAVE TO OFFER?
