Job Description: Job Title: Warehouse Distribution Analyst Summary: The Warehouse Distribution Analyst is responsible for overseeing 3PL services for Solventum, aligning strategies with the corporate Network Strategy. Ensures that the requirements and business processes associated with the 3PL provider function smoothly, while also ensuring that issues and risks are identified and managed efficiently. Manages the overall planning, organization, and operations of Mexico Distribution Centers with selected 3PL(s). Measure all 3PL distribution functions, including order processing, picking, packing, shipping, receiving and inventory management. Manages the 3PL account relationship associated with the region, or distribution centers and is accountable for the budget associated with the logistics operations of the sites. Also, will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver results that align with strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities: 3PL Relationship Management Act as the primary point of contact between the company and third-party logistics (3PL) providers. Maintain regular communication with 3PLs to align service levels, priorities, and issue resolution. Optimize processes with 3PL partners to achieve cost savings in transportation, warehousing, and distribution. Keep track, analyze and review 3PL expenses monthly, assuring alignment with agreed/current rates. Separation Activity: Support the regional execution of separation activities during mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal disruption. Represent the region in coordinating asset, system, and vendor transitions in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Cost Savings Initiatives: Identify and implement cost-reduction opportunities in logistics and distribution. Monitor operational expenditures and drive process improvements for savings. Daily Operations Supervision Monitor and coordinate daily logistics activities handled by 3PLs, including warehousing, order fulfillment, labeling, transportation, and returns. Ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs), timelines, and quality standards. Monitor inventory turnover and warehouse capacity utilization. Performance Monitoring and Reporting Track and analyze 3PL performance using KPIs such as on-time delivery, order accuracy, inventory accuracy, and lead times. Prepare and present regular performance reports to the Logistics Management Team. Track OS&D issues and partner with planning, finance and quality to develop plans for NWI reduction. Identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement. Provide data-driven recommendations to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Issue Resolution and Escalation Investigate and resolve operational issues with 3PLs, escalating problems when necessary to internal stakeholders. Ensure prompt resolution of service disruptions and customer complaints related to logistics. Trade Compliance Support: Support trade compliance strategies and ensure adherence to local, regional, and international regulations. Support trade compliance policies for logistics operations, customs documentation and regulatory reporting. Serve as main point of contact between international carriers, customs brokers, and international vendors, to assure smooth and efficient customs clearance processes. Track customs broker performance and develop strategies and plans aiming to improve efficiencies and reduce costs. Continuous Improvement and Compliance Drive continuous improvement efforts in network design and execution, identifying opportunities for efficiency gains and cost reductions. Ensure alignment between network optimization efforts and overall business strategy. Identify opportunities for improving logistics processes and implementing best practices with 3PLs. Ensure 3PL compliance with regulatory, quality, and company-specific requirements, especially related to medical devices. System and Data Management Ensure accurate and timely data entry and updates in logistics systems (e.g., ERP, WMS). Collaborate with IT or relevant teams for system integration or enhancement related to 3PLs. Serve as an ERP Super User for relevant systems (e.g., SAP), ensuring effective tracking and management of regional operations. Collect and analyze operational data to support network optimization and decision-making. Identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement in network performance. Inventory Oversight Coordinate physical and system-based inventory reconciliation activities with 3PLs. Support inventory audits and manage discrepancy investigations and adjustments. SOPs and Documentation Maintain and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to logistics and 3PL operations. Ensure all activities are properly documented and align with corporate and regulatory standards. Collaboration with Internal Teams Work closely with Business leaders, Customer Service, Regulatory, Quality, and Finance teams to ensure smooth end-to-end order processing and fulfillment. Serve as main point of contact with assuring an operation that complies with company and regulatory standards. Provide logistics-related input to internal projects and initiatives. Support for Local Projects and Launches Provide logistics coordination support for product launches, promotions, and other country-specific initiatives. Liaise with 3PLs to align capacity and resources for special projects. Sustainability Initiatives: Lead the regional implementation of sustainability initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate sustainability goals. Support the identification and adoption of eco-friendly practices in regional operations to minimize environmental impact. Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND (5) years of supply chain, distribution, engineering or logistics experience Previous 3PL experience and healthcare industry experience. Led large scale process improvements through Lean process, Kaizen, and Six Sigma. Functional knowledge of logistics processes and methods to include flow, cost efficiencies, safety and quality. Analytical skills to include problem identification and resolution. Working knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS). Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Knowledgeable in MS Office, particularly Excel. Experience with Power BI a plus Data oriented with experience analyzing large data sets using Excel and other data querying tools. SAP experience as a plus Thrives within independent and teamwork environments with the ability to drive change. Ability to think strategically and execute tactically. Be a result driven and execution focused individual. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Bilingual Spanish/English desired.
