Northern Arc has cumulatively raised over INR One Trillion in funds for its clients since the inception of its platform in 2009. - We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Financial Services Analytics Specialist. - This role involves utilizing advanced analytics techniques to extract insights from financial data, driving informed decision-making and strategic initiatives within the organization. - The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, statistics, and data analytics, with a proven track record of delivering actionable insights in the financial services industry. - Analyze large datasets from various financial sources to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. - Develop predictive models to forecast customer behavior or risk exposure. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, risk management and operations to understand business objectives and develop analytical solutions. - Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support decision-making processes, such as pricing strategies and product development. - Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. - Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in financial analytics to continuously improve processes and : - Bachelors/Masters degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field with a minimum of 65% in all academics. - Experience and skills: 1 to 4 years of experience in analytics, preferably in retail, banking, insurance, or investment management. - Proficiency in SQL for large-scale data processing and analysis is mandatory. - Proficiency in Python/Scala with experience in API development is mandatory. - Expertise with big data technologies, including Spark, Data Lake, Delta Lake is a plus. - Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. - Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or CPA are a plus.
