GirlSummer Pool Manager

GirlSummer is an inclusive all-girls summer experience for campers entering 2nd-9th grade. GirlSummer allows each camper the opportunity to explore, play, and learn on our vibrant campus. Each session is two-weeks in length Monday thru Friday, with Session I operating July 7 - July 18 and Session II operating July 21 - August 1, 2025. The Pool Manager will engage in at least one week of pre-work for planning and preparation in addition to orientation on June 30 and July 1st, and for the duration of camp between July 7th and August 1st, 2025. The Pool Manager will view the camp through a holistic and evaluative lens to provide feedback and best practice observations after GirlSummer concludes. GirlSummer Pool Manager: The GirlSummer Pool Manager reports to the Director of GirlSummer and oversees the lifeguards to promote a safe aquatics experience for all swim-test approved campers. The Pool Manager will oversee all swimming instruction and actively participate in morning activities, morning meetings, and lunch programming. The Pool Manager is expected on campus each day by 7:45 a.m. and their day will conclude at 3:45p.m. with the exception when the Pool Manager is scheduled to staff before/after care. Minimum Qualifications: Valid working papers Current certification as a WSI (Water Safety Instructor) and Lifeguard Management Lifeguard certification CPR certification for 2025 Previous experience working with youth (ages 5-13) Good record-keeping skills Ability to communicate clearly, to be flexible and adaptable, and to remain calm in an emergency Salary Compensation: $3,500
