Field Service Technician

THE OPPORTUNITY Sany Construction Equipment Dealer is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician for an equipment dealership located in Pennsauken NJ, servicing SE Pennsylvania, NJ, DE area. The Field Service Technician will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on heavy equipment. This role requires in store service and travel to customer sites to perform on-site maintenance and repair work. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, the ability to work independently, and excellent customer service abilities. LIST KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Sany and other makes of Industrial & Construction Equipment Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer machines Maintain a service vehicle and its inventory Process paperwork after completion of each job Will travel within 100-mile radius PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and diesel internal combustion engines, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate industrial & construction equipment Previous industrial or construction equipment repair, diesel engine troubleshooting & repair experience, welding experience, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or equivalent.
