Supply Teacher

Zest Education are currently seeking general supply teachers in North Birmingham, including Sutton Coldfield, Wylde Green, Erdington, Aston, Handsworth and surrounding areas. We have established close partnerships with secondary schools in the region that are experiencing a high demand for General Supply Teachers. The available roles encompass day-to-day cover, as well as short-term and long-term placements that are ready to commence as soon as possible. Applicants who are successful must possess the following qualifications and attributes: – A PGCE or an equivalent UK teaching qualification that has led to the acquisition of QTS or QTLS. – A strong passion for multiple subjects and an exceptional understanding of KS3 and KS4. – A team-oriented mindset and a strong desire to contribute to a collaborative working environment. – The ability to plan, assess, and deliver lessons of the highest quality (planning and assessment requirements only apply to short-term and long-term placements). – Proficient classroom management skills, including effective behaviour management techniques. – Excellent time management skills, as well as a good grasp of information and communication technology. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work. Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
