Branch Manager – Trade Plumbing & Pipeline Supplies Location: Oxford Salary: Negotiable DOE Car Allowance Profit Share Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Lead Your Own Business – With the Support of the UK’s 1 Independent Plumbing Merchant We’re looking for a commercially driven Branch Manager (Site Manager / Branch Manager) to take full ownership of our Oxford location - part of the UK’s largest independent group of plumbing and heating merchants. This is a rare opportunity to run your own site, with full autonomy over stock, sales, pricing, people, and performance - without the red tape. You’ll lead from the front, grow the customer base, build strong trade relationships, and drive profit like it’s your own business. What You’ll Be Doing: * Leading all daily operations of the site * Setting local strategy to drive sales, customer growth, and margin * Managing a team across trade counter, warehouse, admin, and delivery * Building long-term relationships with local trade customers and key accounts * Controlling stock, purchasing, costs, and forecasting * Ensuring site compliance, safety, and professional presentation * Coaching and developing your team through hands-on leadership What We’re Looking For: * Experience managing a trade or merchant branch – or senior sales background in plumbing, pipeline, or heating * A confident team leader with strong commercial awareness * Clear understanding of P&L, margin, and cost control * Excellent customer focus and relationship-building skills * Hands-on, decisive, and proactive in solving problems * Strong communicator with good planning and leadership skills * Full UK driving licence (essential) What You’ll Get: * Competitive salary car allowance * Uncapped profit share tied to your site’s performance * Company pension, life assurance, and healthcare benefits * Monday to Friday working pattern * Real progression opportunities within our wider 320 site network Ready to Own Your Branch?
