Temporary Credit Controller Contract: Temporary (3–6 months) Location: Basingstoke Salary: £13–£16 per hour (depending on experience) Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday Start Date: Immediate We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Temporary Credit Controller to join our clients finance team in Basingstoke. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong communication skills and a passion for numbers to make an immediate impact in a fast-paced environment. Day-to-day of the role: Chasing outstanding payments via phone, email, and letter. Allocating payments and reconciling customer accounts. Investigating and resolving invoice queries. Monitoring aged debt and escalating issues where necessary. Producing regular reports for management. Supporting the wider finance team as needed. Required Skills & Qualifications: Previous experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, SAP, or similar). Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
