BMS Project Engineer

We are seeking a Project Engineer to join a national market leader in the Building Management Systems industry & Energy Optimisation, in North West! This role involves managing and delivering Time & Materials (T&M) projects, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining high customer service standards. The Project Engineer will play a critical role in overseeing procurement, project design, commissioning, and customer handovers. About the role: * Provide a professional and high-quality service to customers. * Implement and monitor safe systems of work on assigned T&M/projects. * Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policy. * Maintain regular communication with customers to ensure satisfaction. * Take full ownership and responsibility for project delivery. * Conduct client training, demonstrations, and handovers. * Identify and address additional training needs. * Develop and oversee project management documents including H&S, CDM, Method Statements, and Risk Assessments. * Procure control items, approve control panel drawings, and size control valves. * Manage and coordinate subcontractors. * Attend site progress meetings as required. * Produce weekly project reports. * Design and review technical project submissions. * Supervise installation and commissioning activities. * Identify and evaluate project variations. * Produce operation & maintenance documentation and oversee handovers. * Conduct end-of-project technical reviews. Skills and Experience * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Proven leadership qualities. * Technical expertise in multiple BMS/HVAC products. * Awareness of energy management and sustainability. * Excellent attention to detail. * Strong time management and organisational skills. * Self-motivated, responsible, and accountable. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and in-house Service Management & Financial systems.
