Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant (TA) Are you a passionate and proactive Teaching Assistant with a drive to make a difference in Key Stage 2? Teach Now is recruiting an enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to support pupils with interventions and special educational needs at a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Islington. About the School: Situated in a bustling and well-connected part of North London, this primary school is known for its strong community spirit, high expectations, and commitment to developing every child’s potential. The school has a well-resourced learning environment, a dedicated SEN team, and a leadership team that values staff input and well-being. The Role: You will play a key role in supporting pupils in lower and upper Key Stage 2, delivering targeted interventions in literacy and numeracy, and providing one-to-one or small group support for children with additional needs. You will: • Assist the class teacher in creating a positive, focused learning environment • Deliver academic boosters and tailored intervention programmes • Support children with a range of SEN needs, both in and out of the classroom • Help pupils develop confidence, independence, and resilience in their learning • Monitor progress and feedback to teachers and SENCO Who We’re Looking For: • Experience working with KS2 pupils in a school setting • Knowledge of delivering boosters/interventions and supporting SEN • A caring, adaptable, and positive attitude • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • A genuine passion for supporting children to reach their full potential What’s in it for you? • Competitive daily pay: £85–£100 • Supportive and welcoming school environment • Opportunities for professional development and training • A chance to make a real impact in children's educational journeys Why work via Teach Now?
