Commercial Electrician Location: Midlands (West Midlands-Based Company) Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum Benefits: Paid travel, company van & fuel card, 21 days holiday bank holidays, healthcare after 3 months, overtime rates, and more We are a long-established, reputable building services company based in the West Midlands, delivering high-quality Electrical, Mechanical, Gas, and Air Conditioning services across the Midlands for over 40 years. Due to ongoing expansion, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Electrician to join our Service & Maintenance Division. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a professional and supportive team, providing high-standard electrical work across a wide range of commercial properties. What You'll Be Doing: Carrying out routine planned and reactive maintenance on commercial properties Completing electrical repairs and fault finding tasks efficiently and safely Undertaking electrical testing, inspection, and certification (if qualified) Working on emergency lighting systems across multiple commercial sites Assisting with small-scale refurbishments and upgrade works Liaising with clients and site managers to ensure minimal disruption to operations Sites You’ll Work On: Schools Offices Police stations Care homes Public houses MOD (Ministry of Defence) facilities What We’re Looking For: Gold JIB Card – essential or working towards Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Electrical Installation – essential 2391 Testing & Inspection – desirable Experience in commercial maintenance environments Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Full UK driving licence – essential Good communication and customer service skills Pay & Benefits: Salary: Up to £38,000 depending on experience and qualifications Travel Time Paid: First 15 miles: Unpaid 15–25 miles: 15 mins paid 25–35 miles: 30 mins paid 35–50 miles: 45 mins paid Over 50 miles: All travel minus 30 mins paid Company Van & Fuel Card provided Overtime paid at x1.5 Call-out Rota: 1 in 8 weeks, with a £100 standby payment 21 Days Holiday Bank Holidays Private Healthcare after 3 months Tools, uniform, and PPE provided Career development opportunities within an established and supportive team This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified and motivated Commercial Electrician to join a respected, multi-disciplinary building services provider and work across a diverse and stable portfolio of commercial clients.
